PSM onboarded High Handy Caps in June 2026. By September, monthly sales had nearly tripled — the best month in the brand’s history.
The Background
High Handy Caps makes golf hats designed by golfers, for golfers — rope hats, tour visors, camo and game-day designs with a sense of humour stitched into every patch. The brand launched in mid-2025 and built a loyal following on its own.
But a year in, growth had stalled. Through the first five months of 2026, monthly sales bounced between roughly $3K and $9K with no clear upward trend. The product was proven. What the brand needed was a system to put it in front of more golfers, every month. That’s when High Handy Caps onboarded with PSM in June 2026.
The Challenge
Golf hats are a crowded category. Big-name apparel brands own the pro shop, and dozens of small rope-hat labels compete for the same feed. High Handy Caps had great designs and real fans — but sales rose and fell with each drop instead of building month on month.
Breaking out of a plateau takes more than more ad spend. The creative had to stop the scroll, the campaigns had to find new golfers profitably, and the store had to turn that traffic into orders. All three had to be rebuilt together — heading straight into football and fall golf season.

Paid Ads Strategy
▾The Starting PointSales that spiked with each drop and then faded. No campaign structure built to keep finding new golfers between launches.
The BuildRebuilt the Meta (Facebook & Instagram) account around a steady creative testing cadence, broad golf and game-day audiences, and budget that moved behind the hats and angles proving they could sell. Collegiate football and regional drops gave the campaigns fresh, seasonal hooks heading into fall.
The ResultMonthly sales went from about $6.5K in May to about $19K in September — 2.9x in four months, with August and September the two biggest months the brand has ever had.
Content & UGC Engine
▾The GapGreat hats, not enough fresh creative. The same handful of assets were doing all the work, and ad fatigue was capping how far spend could go.
The BuildBuilt a content pipeline around the way golfers actually wear the product — on-course lifestyle photography, creator-style UGC, and clean product shots for every new design. Each drop launched with creative ready for both the ads and the store.
The Impact39 new designs went live between June and September 2026 — Map & Flag, collegiate football, tour visors and more — each one a fresh reason for golfers to click and buy.
Website & Conversion
▾The ProblemPaid traffic is only as good as the store it lands on. A growing catalogue meant shoppers had more to dig through before finding the hat they came for.
The ApproachShaped the Shopify storefront around how golfers shop — collections by style and team, hats shown on heads as well as on white, and a short, friction-free path from product page to checkout.
The OutcomeA store built to carry the extra traffic — so every new drop and every new campaign turned into orders, not bounces, as monthly sales climbed to record highs.
