Faith and Flow Jiu-Jitsu onboarded with PSM in August 2026. By September, monthly sales were up 7x on July, and the brand had its best month yet.
The Background
Faith and Flow Jiu-Jitsu makes faith-driven apparel for the Brazilian jiu-jitsu community: rash guards, ranked belt tees, performance tanks and hoodies printed with the scripture that keeps its athletes going, from Ephesians 6:12 to Joshua 1:9.
The store opened in the summer of 2026 and took its first orders in July. Its customers were loyal, but there weren’t many of them, and July closed at $586 in sales. The brand had a message and a community. It needed a store, a system and a steady flow of traffic to grow. Faith and Flow onboarded with PSM in August 2026.
The Challenge
BJJ apparel is a tight, tribal niche. Athletes buy from brands they see on the mats and in their feeds, and established labels already own that space. A new brand starts with no reviews, no audience and no data, so every dollar of ad spend has to work.
Faith and Flow had to build everything at once: a store that converts, a way to get the brand worn and shared inside gyms, a way to bring buyers back, and paid campaigns to bring in new customers. Each of those depends on the others, so all four had to launch together.

Website & Store Build
▾The Starting PointA young store with a handful of products and no clear route from “I like this brand” to “I bought the shirt”.
The BuildBuilt the Shopify storefront around how grapplers shop: men’s, women’s and youth collections, the Ranked belt-tee collection, rash guards up front, and the brand’s scripture story on every page. Thirty new products went live from August onward, each with clean imagery ready for both the store and the ads.
The ResultA store that could take paid traffic. September averaged about $60 per order, and roughly 1 in 10 customers had already come back to buy again.
Brand Ambassador Program
▾The GapIn jiu-jitsu, word of mouth starts on the mats. The brand had nothing in place to turn the athletes who loved it into people who would rep it in their gyms.
The BuildLaunched a “Become a Brand Ambassador” program with its own landing page and application flow, so athletes and coaches could sign up to wear, share and recommend Faith and Flow inside their gyms.
The ImpactThe ambassador page became the second most-visited page on the whole site, with 2,430 sessions, behind only the homepage. It built a pipeline of grapplers ready to carry the brand.
Email Marketing
▾The ProblemA small brand cannot afford to pay for every sale twice. Visitors and first-time buyers were leaving with no way for the brand to bring them back.
The ApproachSet up email capture and the core automated flows, then sent campaigns built around each new drop, so every launch reached people who already knew the brand.
The OutcomeAn owned channel that grows with every order. About 10% of customers have already come back for a second purchase.
Meta Ads
▾The Starting PointNo ad account history and no data on which products or messages would land with grapplers.
The BuildLaunched Facebook and Instagram campaigns aimed at the BJJ and faith-driven training communities. Spend went behind the hero products, the Ranked belt tees and the signature rash guard, and every new drop gave the campaigns fresh creative.
The ResultMonthly sales went from $586 in July to $4,135 in September, 7x in two months. The Black Belt Tee and the Short Sleeve Rash Guard became the brand’s two best sellers.
